Adjust-a-Tray™ was invented by a dentist who for years fought the age old problem of having to wade through all the different sizes and shapes of dental impression trays in his inventory i.e. small, medium, large, extra-large, quadrant, anterior, triple bite metal, plastic, edentulous, partial edentulous etc. only to discover that he never seemed to have the tray he needed at the time for the procedure he was doing. This frustration led to the idea that there must be a tray out there that could be modified to fit any size or shape of mouth for any dental procedure, and that would come in uppers and lowers. Much to his dismay, there was no such “mouse trap” available. So, as dentists often do, he decided to create one. After multiple headaches and going through a myriad of prototypes, patents, and testing, Adjust-a-Tray™ was “born”. This unique, innovative impression tray has not only been a tremendous help in solving the dilemma of never having the right tray for the right application, but along the way, dentists have benefited from such things as simplified storage and inventory, individually wrapped for contamination reduction, wider and longer advantages for edentulous arches for more accurate edentulous and partial edentulous impressions, better adaptability to avoid melting and bending stock trays, eliminating the need for custom trays and better handle shape facilitating easier impression removal.
